We are home to Laurel-Snow State Natural Area, which provides hiking and exploring along a beautiful stream as you hike to the falls in this gorgeous scenic area.
If you love history and exploring, we are home to the famous 1925 Scopes Trial. Take a tour of The Scopes Trial Museum, located in the basement of the Rhea County Courthouse, and learn about the rich history of this area. The Trail of Tears also goes through Rhea County.
For the fine art lovers, the Tennessee Valley Theatre in Spring City offers both local and nationally known plays, produced and performed by local performers.
